INGREDIENTS

Therapeutic properties of essential and carrier oils used in VBA’s Violet & Green Tea Face Cream preparation:

Rosebud & Green Tea-infused Jojoba Oil Green tea (extracted from Camelia flowers) is high in antioxidants and flavonoids and is shown to be helpful for skin. Rose is excellent for rejuvenating skin and is especially valuable for dry, sensitive or ageing skins

Violet Leaf-infused Sweet Almond Oil Violet leaf is antiseptic and has many valuable properties and a gentle reviving effect on skin, helps hydrate and sooth dry and sun/wind damaged skin. Helps treat acne and large skin pores, and some say traditionally it has been used in the treatment of cancer in various preparations. Sweet almond oil is moisturising and easily absorbed by the skin. Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 & E. Great for itchy and dry skin

Sea buckthorn oil Has been used for thousands of years, rich in many nutrients as well as antioxidants, helps skin heal from wounds, sunburn, protects against dryness, locks in moisture, improves skin elasticity. Reduces inflammation

Coconut Oil Supports skin as it ages and protects it on a daily basis; reduces irritation and inflammation, itching & redness, nourishing. Rich emollient

Beeswax Healing, nourishing and protecting skin on a daily basis, reduces inflammation, irritation and redness

Avocado oil conditions, soothes and helps to hydrate parched skin and aids regeneration of skin cells. High in fatty acids, this is a great oil for conditioning all those rough areas such as feet, knees and elbows. Used regularly repairs and protects skin and minimises appearance of stretch marks.

Hemp seed oil is perfect for most skin types as it can moisturise without clogging pores. Can help balance out oily skin hydrating and regulating the skin’s oil production.

Aloe Vera Gel Soothing, nourishing; reduces inflammation, itching, redness & rashes

Centella Asiatica Rebalances collagen production of fibres whenever these are disrupted (ageing process, pregnancy etc.) Induces, maintains and controls the skin’s healing process

Rose & Ciste hydrosols Add and retain moisture. Suitable for all skin types including devitalized skin. Scar and wound healing, powerful antiwrinkle treatments, mildly astringent, brighten tired skins.

Vitamin E helps maintain a healthy skin and eyes,. A powerful anti-oxidant that protects skin from free radicals.

Geranium Rejuvenating damaged skin, soothes skin irritation, calms inflammation and reduces swelling and balances the production of sebum

Bergamot Great to help with acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections and congested skin

Patchouli Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, fungicidal, cell-regenerator. Very useful in treating acne, cracked skin, some types of eczema and some skin allergies. Patchouli is uplifting, anti-depressant, useful for treating exhaustion, stress and anxiety.

Violet & Green Tea Face Cream

After thoroughly cleansing & toning your face and neck, apply a little Violet & Green Tea Face Cream working from the neck upwards in circular movements. Massage well into the skin, stimulating blood flow - thereby draining toxins.

If using the Damascene Rose Serum with the cream, place 3 - 4 drops on your palm, spread evenly and transfer to your face first. Massage the serum into your skin using the same method as above, then apply the cream.

Please store this cream in a cool place. If in hot climes, please store it in the fridge
