Damascene Rose Serum

Therapeutic properties of essential and carrier oils used in VBA’s Damascene Rose Serum preparation:

Hazelnut Oil Very light texture, skin balancer and toner, very mild SPF factor, especially good for acne prone skins and good emolient and astringent

Argan Oil This oil minimises the appearance of scars and helps soften sun and wind damaged skin. With regular use the oil helps to balance oily skin and reduce inflammation around spots and acne.

Tomato seed Oil Very rich in lycopene and antioxidants. Helps repair damaged skin and gives a natural healthy glow. Treats sunburns, tightens pores, reduces oiliness.

Camelia Oil Excellent for dry, irritated, mature and sensitive skins. A great emollient, making it a nourishing moisturizer for dry or damaged skin. Camellia oil is also a natural source of antioxidants and vitamins A & B. Very hydrating

Carrot oil Soothes irritable and irritated skin, reduces redness, helps reduce acne and scarring caused by acne. Helps protect skin from ultraviolet rays. Has strong anti-aging properties

Sea Buckthorn Oil Emolient, anti-oxidant, regenerative, supports healing of many skin issues as well as sun and radiation damage

Helichrysm infused Oil Promotes healthy skin cell regeneration and gives a glowing and youthful complexion. Fabulous healer of skin issues such as eczema and dermatitis.

Prickly Pear Anti-oxidant, revitalising, softening and moisturising effects. It is a valuable ingredient for nourishing and moisturising skin in depth as well as reducing skin ageing

Pomegranate Boosts collagen production, enhances skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of scarring, promotes the reversal of skin damage, and leaves lasting moisture without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores

Centella Asiatica Rebalances collagen production of fibres whenever these are disrupted (ageing process, pregnancy, etc.) Induces, maintains and controls the skin’s healing process

Geranium Rejuvenating damaged skin, soothes skin irritation, calms inflammation and reduces swelling

Sandalwood Excellent for dry and dehydrated skins, yet also great for oily skins and acne

Frankincense Particularly helpful for mature skins, tonic effect restoring tone to slack looking skin and slowing down appearance of wrinkles

Damascene Rose One of the best oils for all skin types, but specially for ageing, dry and sensitive skins. A very valuable essential oil not only on the physical level but the emotional level as well

HOW TO USE

Rose Face Serum

After thoroughly cleansing & toning your face and neck, place 3 - 5 drops of Damascene Rose Serum on your palm, spread evenly across both hands and press your hands on to your face; working from the neck upwards in circular movements. Massage well into the skin, stimulating blood flow - thereby draining toxins and promoting greater elasticity.

The serum is particularly effective for helping to moisturise dry skin, if you apply it just after showering.
